About
Gloria Bernard is a Chicago-based therapist who uses a collaborative and integrative approach to psychotherapy to facilitate trauma recovery and performance enhancement.
She works to address maladaptive belief systems that subconsciously or consciously prevent clients from moving with intention and confidence toward their goals. Gloria’s clients include high-achieving women and gender-queer people, many of whom have experienced gender-based traumas.
With a background in the creative arts cultivated at NYU’s Steinhardt school, and an expertise in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy, Gloria works to help clients transform their internal narratives, identify and change negative beliefs, and get "unstuck” from what sabotages their own success. Sessions with Gloria are engaging, interactive and goal-oriented.
